I need GIMP

I'm on the GIMP downloads section of their website but I'm having trouble trying to figure out what I need to download. It seems the only windows version of their software is for Windows XP sp2 or later but I'm running Windows Vista sp1 on the laptop I want to download it to. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Interesting, the page I'm looking at says "or later." Either way I wasn't really sure if they were implying the specific service packs could be newer or later. Thanks for the help.

Newer = later = after. They all mean exactly the same thing, that the latter is chronologically second to the former.

I downloaded it because my girl likes to use photoshop but the laptop that she had photoshop on fried and someone told her it was a decent replacement. When she started messing with it after I downloaded it she mentioned that it's not very much like photoshop at all.... I wouldn't know since I've never messed with either program.
