    Installed earlier today. No real difference in a non xfire system, but noticeable improvements in video playback on my vlc player

    The actual driver itself didn't actually change from 10.6 to 10.7. The enhancements came in the rest of the catalyst suite. 10.7 added hardware acceleration to VLC 1.1.1.

    It looks like my DoD:S framerate issue has gone by the wayside with 10.7.

    You shouldn't have had ANY frame rate issues with DOD:S with previous drivers. What is the deal?

    It took four or five installs before it installed properly.

    The driver install kept failing and I couldn't get CCC to even launch.

    It all works now...I hope.
