    well this is interesting. i didnt even know avg had customer service.

    but yeah i would guess its a false positive.

    I would also try superantispyware, they have a fully operational try version like malwarebytes. May want to try Process Explorer to isolate any issues with svchost.exe. Was playing crysis and svchost.exe kept spiking to 90 CPU. Process Explorer was able to pin point a memory leak causing a major lag period and svchost.exe spike.
