Need a new mouse. Recommendations?

I use a combination of a claw and a palm grip and it fits me perfectly, although I have large hands. If you can find a Logitech MX815 on display at a local computer retailer, it will be almost the same size and shape as the G500. Lots of players with "wrist" grips swear by "palm" grip mice and vice versa. It really depends on the size of your hand and what you feel comfortable with.

The MX518 can be hit or miss. I am having horrible mouse issues ATM with it, while others have had there's work flawlessly.

well best buy didn't have the mx518 on display. Just the performance MX. I tried to see how it felt through the plastic on the box.....
Anyways for the price difference, looks like i'm getting a G500... for now.

I just got the Razer Mamba and I like it so far. Very smooth with 0 lag for a wireless mouse. I also like the fact that you can run it wired if you need to. Battery life has been a non issue so far and I am not great about charging it.

I second this, best Razer Mouse I've ever owned. But if you don't like snakes then Logitech's G9, G5, and MX518 are good from what I've heard thus far. Steel Series Mice are also worth looking into as well.
