Re: What is the difference?
There is no difference. It's just nomenclature (and some tricksy marketing).
The JEDEC specification is listed for DDR3 1333MHz memory as "PC3-10600"; under the consumer sillyness of "if one pill is great, two pills should be double-great!*", some companies list higher numbers (the actual number should be "PC3-10667", going by multiplication; it's rounded off to make it more inclusive and less confusing).

* Also included in this mind-set is "if I have to cook it at 250 degrees for 20 minutes, then I can cook it at 500 degrees for 10 minutes!". Neither works very well.Last edited by draco7891; 09-19-10 at 02:21 PM.
