Directional Microphone
I'm looking for a good directional microphone that can use to record teacher during lecture notes, from a minor distance.
When i was a kid I had one of those "spy kits" that had one and would be BAD ass for this. Ive looked and looked but to no avail... they have to be somewhere...
It needs to be portable, size, needs to be self powered (by batteries or by usb or the sound cable). And most importantly it needs to be able to pick up the prof.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This place has good quality, and inexpensive (relatively speaking) mics.
