Thread: Coding question

Alright, so I'm not really a programmer by nature. I can figure out code/modify some code slightly, but I'm not the greatest at it. That being said, I'm trying to find a way to automate some things and need some help. I'm currenty trying to read in infromation from a word document and essentially export it into excel. I know there's a way to do it through macros/VB scripts, I'm just having a difficult time doing it. I have the formats of the word documents and what format I'll need them in excel already created and can email to whoever can help.

Save the doc to text format and then on your excel worksheet click on data and go to import text. It then gives you several options on how to break up the data.
