Re: External Album Art in Itunes
I'll just pretend you didn't say that....
I love my itunes.....and it's Genius mixes. I have a 250gig HDD dedicated to itunes with well over 100gigs on it. I rip cd's using the Apple Lossless format so they are about half of the size of RAW, but still much larger than MP3. Now if my ipod could somehow digitally connect to my home stereo, we would have complete World domination by the end of the month. It can be done....but it's ~$400 for the dock. Fucking Apple, fucking me.
But I do love itunes.......

Slow, bloated, pile of garbage piece of software, in my opinion. Although, I haven't personally owned any apple hardware, I have just had the luxury of fixing peoples "broken" systems, some of which had issues of "itunes running slow". Well, it's just the software. We used WinAmp and everything began to run seamlessly. Although, I heard the newer hardware doesn't work with WinAmp.
To me, iTunes is a store... that's it. I would rather by from Amazon. Those locked in due to their hardware, I will let you keep pretending you like it.

Re: External Album Art in Itunes
The software end is the only part I like.....it's the hardware (and the proprietary bs within) that I hate.
I had found a solution to my digital connection problem (to my home stereo) for $125.....until my ipod realized it wasn't connected to something that had received Job's blessing and stopped working. The only way to digitally connect an ipod to a home system is this: Wadia 170iTransport iPod® dock with digital output at Crutchfield.com
That product is the ONLY one who has the Almighty Job's blessing. And Hell if I am paying ~$400 for a freaking dock. For that kind of green, I could buy a cheap lappy and connect it via HDMI.
I hope Job's body realizes his new kidney isn't a licensed Apple product, and rejects it....poetic justice.Last edited by dex71; 11-09-10 at 09:06 AM.

Foobar2000 > Winamp
foobar2000
It'll play pretty much any audio format in existence. Plus, you can make it do nearly anything.
