In need of new keyboard and mouse pad
hi, I've decided to get a new keyboard and mouse pad. Can anyone give me a good recommendation? I've been using Rocketfish™ - Gaming Mouse Pad - Black - RF-MSEPAD as my current mousepad, which I have been pretty happy with, until it got a scratch on it, which causes my cursor to jump whenever I scroll over it. I've been using the default dell keyboard and would really like to step up my equipment. My range is probably about $150, but I'd prefer to keep it under $100.

They're not flashy, but Keytronic is great.

looks pretty good, actually. I forgot to mention, but I really like the type of keyboard you showed me. I dislike the kind of keyboard with the flat keys. I like the keys that stick up, like the ones you showed me
gonna add that to the maybe pile, although it's a strong contender
any other recommendations?
He seems like a nice guy from my experiences with him. He is a bit quiet though.[/]

As for keyboards......I love the Logitechs with the lcd screens.....I use mine for almost everything. itunes, Teamspeak, Vent, Bf2, X-fire.
As for mousepads.......I have used these for years : Micro Center - Microthin Products Wow!Pad Large Mousepad Graphite LFR48
Cheap....slippery as all Hell....wonderful. I tried one of those glass ones, but it felt like my mouse was in a puddle of sludge compared to the WOW! pad.

I have been using the Razer Tarantula keyboard for almost 4 years now, and I really like it. They have discontinued it, but there are many other options from Razer.

I tried out the Razer Lycosa keyboard and I HATED it, and returned it. It had the flat style keys, didn't support multi-ghosting (or whatever it is called), so it just wasn't for me. The Tarantula is still working strong, and I am considering buying a second one off of Amazon.com just in case this one ever breaks.
As for a mouse pad, trust me when I say to try out SteelSeries gaming surfaces. I recommend the SteelSeries 5L, but they have other options.

My 5L has also lasted me about 4 years. It is finally starting to wear out after many years worth of gaming sessions, beer spills, food dust... you know, the regular gamer accidents. I have asked for a new one for xmas.

Re: In need of new keyboard and mouse pad
My school was giving away old keyboards, so I took four of them. Anything salvageable? My plan was to print out stickers of SC2 units/ commands and put them on the related keyboard hotkey.
