Windows 7!

Hey there!
So I have this HP computer (what a fail, never buy one of these pre-made crap <.<), the pavillion m7560n. It was pretty nice when I bought it and it's still a decent computer by todays standards.
Except for the fact that I managed to corrupt my OS, the recovery partition AND to scratch my recovery DVDs... The guys at HP being the f***ng thiefts they are, the only option they gave me (since I'm off waranty, it's been like 5 years...) was to ship my computer to them and add 50$ for the hastle, and they'd "see what they can do", I.E put a recovery CD in there, run it for 3 hours, press enter a couple of time and send my computer back on its way.
So I figured out I'd give a try to windows 7 for about the same price, since my specs are decent enough to handle it.
It's been 3 hours and I'm in love! This OS is sooooo much faster, everything is easier and it just looks way nicer. The only let down is the lack of driver for my EMU 1212m sound card, but hey, it haven't been around for too long, the drivers should come.

R: Win 7 is awesome! Buy it if you get a chance, get rid of the beached whale that is vista/XP media center...

Windows 7 is quite awesome. So many little nuances that I can't live without when I use systems with XP.

Example: The corporate HQ for the company I work for uses XP, and everytime I go to do something I would normally do on Windows 7, I get aggravated, lol.

lol I game on a vista machine and it runs great for me. I do like win7 better as thats what I have on my laptop, it boots fast and bf2 will run on it where it does not on vista for me. but sounds good, so did you go all boom head shot guy on your computer or what?

BF2 ran fine on Vista for me. I ran it as an Admin, and NOT in compatibility mode.

But 7 freaking rules.......

Ya, i think its safe to say everyone knows just how much i hate windows. So when i say i prefer windows 7 MUCH more than any other version of windows, folks should understand the impact of that.

Windows 7 is great and Windows Vista works just fine... Everyone just jumps on the Windows hating bandwagon.

Heck I don't even have Linux installed at home anymore. It's way too time consuming.
