Why I hav'nt been playing lately: Power Supply/Graphics Card/ Shitty computer issues
Ok, so everytime I tried to play a game, my monitor would kick to digital power safe mode. I have come to the conclusion that this is caused by my power supply.
A few months back, I was 3 days late on my electric bill, and the fuckers came to my house and killed my power, well, this fried my power supply. So i got one out of my old computer, both of the 275 watts. Come to find out, My GeForce 9800gt needs a minimum of 400 watts. So I beleive this is causing my issue.
Now it has gotten to the point where I cant even start windows, the computer boots up fine, but monitor reverts to power safe mode as soon as it tries to load windows (I have Nuckle's pic of Alaska on my background, and my reso is really high) So im thinking its a graphic overload problem and my power supply can not support it, ergo it shuts down the monitor to avoid over heating or frying the supply.
So today, I'm ganna head to best buy and purchase a new power supply, a 600 watt one so hopefully that will be enough.
I'm hoping this solves my problem, and if you guys think it will not, or have other Ideas that a normal person wouldnt think of (dont tell me to lower my graphics, tried that) then let me know, otherwise, I'm ganna drop the 100 bucks and get a new supply, then order BC2 Vietnam

It might also be the actual graphic card that fried a lil
. Anyway, a 275W PSU is rubbish theses days, a better one is not a waste of money!
I'd highly suggest a Corsair PSU, these seems to last forever. I live in Canada and we often get power shortage because of snow storms. I'd say my power supply suffered from over 100 brutal power cut and it's still working great.
Corsair TX650W 650-Watt Power Supply - ATX, 120mm Fan, SLI-Ready, SATA-Ready, 80Plus at TigerDirect.com
is what I'm getting on my next rig. With 650 W, unless you are using SLI/Crossfire, running with a 16 core CPU or 24 Gb of SDDR3 @ 1600 Mhz, is going to be enough for a looong while.
