Old parts ?
So I always notice people upgrading systems regularly. What happens to these old parts that are still good, but not quite "the new". Well I am tired of sitting around on my stone age machine. Between fiancee and 2 little people it is harder and harder to put the $$ I want back to buy what I would love to have. If anyone has anything that is better than my GeForce 8600 GT, AMD 939 3200+ (2.0ghz) SINGLE core proc, and BIOSTAR TForce6100-939 ATX Motherboard please drop a line with what it is and a price. I feel sad that I go to play BC2 and it is like watching my life pass before me. I am surprised I can run it at all, but this bad boy just doesn't give up without a fight.

Re: Old parts ?
typically my old parts go to family members. Until a couple months ago when my father actually bought a new pre built PC I used my old parts to keep his system running. Between friends and family the parts go quickly. I have given away my old video cards and parts on TPG on occasion when someone mentions in TS or Vent that they are having video problems or some such complaint about there current setup. My last set of parts actually went into piecing together a HTPC for myself. Give it a couple days and it wouldn't surprise me if some gracious TPGers post some goodies for you. No promises but I will check my spare parts closet when I get home. When I looked last month it was pretty sparse. You being an AMD guy also limits things as I build strictly Intel systems.

I have an ATI 4850 with an aftermarket Zalman cooler. $65+ shipping and it is yours.
I typically sell most of the parts on eBay, but I usually keep around a backup graphics card in case something breaks. I have too many PCs in my house already, so I am past the point of recycling unless something really needs it.
