People talk about how great this guy was. "Great" is a word reserved for Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino, John Madden, Joe Montana, or any of Pro Football Hall of Famers. This kid had 12 interceptions and 300 tackles across four years. That isn't what I call a great career. Promising, maybe if you're one of the idiotic Redskins fans who just can't accept that their team is shit, but nothing spectacular.
john madden was not great, he made the hall of fame as an announcer, thats all he has, and he is not good at that either

the kid had alot of potential, but being on a sub par team hindered him, he cant make all of the big plays alone, had he been on a team like the colts, or patriots, or any other top end team, i would bet he would have been an all-star by now, he made the pro bowl last year, and his team missed the playoffs, the year before that his team fell to the seahawks in seattle in the second round of the playoffs, and this year the skins are still in the running for a wildcard spot

it will be something if this draws the whole team together and they do well the rest of the season, look what the death of tony dungy's son did for the colts, and that was just the coaches kid

edit: oh and he was on my fantasy football team, damn it
