    Also, looking into this more, the only SSDs you'd probably see an improvement in would be something like the new 6GB/s SSDs corsair, crucial, and Intel are putting out. Those cost about $370-430 a pop though for a 128GB. The Intel one does have read speeds of up to 470, but that price is really not quite low enough yet. Maybe in 6 months to a year the manufacturing costs will be low enough for them to drop the price some.
    enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

    SSDs are sweet, but I wouldn't go for one just yet. Save your money for now... prices are continuing to fall.

    There was deal for a 128gb for 128 dollars posted on here about a month ago. Try to catch a deal like that.

    Re: Is it really time to upgrade?

    Some updates:

    Settled on the biggest CPU my Mobo can do without tweaking ... a 3.0Ghz Athlon II X4.

    Also stuck in a GTX 560 Ti.

    2.8Ghz X2 -> 3.0Ghz X4
    SLI 8800 GTS 640's -> GTX 560 Ti

    So now my DDR2 800 Mobo, with a single 560 Ti and a 3Ghz Athlon II X4 runs BC2 completely maxed out on 1920x1080.

    Since my mobo does dual 16 SLI I will just get a second 560 ti down the road. almost 5 years later and my motherboard is still rockin' the house.
