Thread: Hand cramping. Need advise on possible new keyboard.

I had it really bad,that bad i couldn't move my fingers & the pain was the worst i've ever experienced in my life. I went to the doctor,he sent me for a blood test & found no problem. I figured the problem out myself by studying it. Its caused by resting on your meta carpel tunnel stopping the blood flow also stopping anything else in there working to your hands. I even couldn't move my arms due to the posture i was in on a swivel chair thus my shoulders were killing me. I had to stay off a computer for 6 months until my body repaired itself,but it took a good 12 months before the pains went totally. I studied in the time i was off the computer for a natural sitting posture with my elbows as the point of contact thus my wrists are straight & no contact whatsoever on the palms/wrists/metacarpel tunnel. The solution is a leather recliner. I am so comfortable now with no pains whatsoever,i can even recline fully to put feet up & still play :P.

You can purchase a leather recliner fairly cheap,i paid £150 brand new. You want something similar to the recliner in the photo accompanied with a Logitech G13 on the left arm & the mouse on the right arm thus gluing a sturdy mouse mat down.

Here is an old photo of my leather recliner setup. I had the Saitek Progamer Command Unit controller prior to the release of the Logitech G13.
