    P67 Return Pole

This a poll thread to deal with something I have never had to deal with before a hardware recall. So TPGers lets not let this end up in the high drama forum. If you have/had a working P67 Build would you return it when the replacements become available?.

    Arguments in favor:
If it is under recall it is broken, and you do not want to find out if you got a good one, or a bad one when you cannot replace it.

    Arguments Against:
It is not something that you need necessarily encounter so long as you use the 6Gbps SATA ports. Once a system is built, one should not fuss with it too much.

Standard Disclaimer: 150% of what I say is bullshit.

If I recall correctly it has to do with the SATA II ports. Is it an issue that you will need to address then?

I would say no. If you plan on using the configuration of sata ports that has a problem then yes. But if you have only one or two drives and use them such that the problem will never happen then meh... up to you. If you are like me and use ALL of your sata ports and wish you had more, then it would be an issue. If not... leave well enough alone.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.
