Thread: Nokia E63 Music Transfer Questions

I have a Nokia E63, and I want to put MP3's on it without having to install the bulky software.

I've read the manual, and it says this:



I want to use Option #2

So, now it looks like this:



Now, the problem is, when I drag the MP3 to the F Disk, I get this message:



Is it because I need to have a Micro SD card inserted into the phone to use this option?

There is 96MB of free memory on the phone right now, which is enough space to transfer one MP3 to the phone for testing.

I obviously plan on buying an SD card, I just need to know that when I do buy a card, that it'll indeed allow me to use this option to transfer any data files to the phone as the manual states. I hope I'm reading the manual right, because that's what it sounds like to me.

Generally speaking, most phones don't store music on the internal memory of the phone. You'll need a MicroSD card.

I had a samsung and the way I figured out how to do it was putting the songs on the card and then putting it in the phone. Samsung also one of those big programs too lol
