New Monitor
Since I just built my new computer, I'm looking for a couple new things for my computer
First thing on the list is a monitor. Gotta be an LCD I only want it to be 22 inches MAYBE 24. It has to have 120 hz refresh rate. Pretty much just a gaming monitor (low response time, whatever else).
Really Only want to spend maybe $250 I can probably go higher if its worth it...
I saw the post about 120 hz monitors but didn't really get much out of it. So hopefully you guys can recommend a nice gaming monitor for around the price I want. Thanks.

$250 for a 120Hz monitor will likely not happen, but there are a lot of great deals on 60Hz monitors with 2ms response times that are great for gaming.
120hz is not necessary. It may have less screen tearing, but there is more to a monitor than the refresh rate. I prefer larger panels (27"-30") for their higher resolution (2560x1440 or higher), but you will likely be paying $700-1200 for the higher res panels. There are 24" 120Hz panels going from $400-500. I would rather have the larger screen and higher resolution for just a few hundred more, but that is me.
What are the specs of your computer? If you aren't going to be running much over 60 FPS, then you will likely not see much benefit from the 120Hz panel anyways.

Re: New Monitor
The hell it is, that's one of the few massively played games will allow someone to maintain a consistent 120 fps, even with relatively mid-line hardware.
I Just got a 120hz monitor today and it is awesome on CSS especially. I will never go back to 60hz. Newegg.com - LG W2363D Black 23" 3ms Full HD 120Hz 3D WideScreen LCD Monitor 400 cd/m2 70,000:1 Except I bought it at Fry's for $299.
Some people said they didn't see much of a difference between 60hz and 120hz, but I was blown away.We can do better.

The problem is that most beefy systems will run CSS at a consistent 299 FPS, so you will have screen tearing anyways. Now Bad Company 2 at max settings is a different story...
Either way, most enthusiast rigs should have enough power to push their games above 120 FPS.
