03-22-11, 10:31 AM #1Problem with YouTube
Recently (since Windows 7 service pack 1), I've had issues with Windows 7 playing Windows sounds at start up over my laptop's speakers instead of through my sound card's audio jacks (Creative X-Fi). Now, YouTube videos play on another "Line-In" but not through my speakers or through my sound card.
My music and video games all play through my sound card correctly. I'm not sure what to do.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

analog. That being said, while trying to fix a separate issue with my mouse, I restarted my computer...now the YouTube problem is gone. I'm a little confused but oh well.

Good question civil, that might be something I would supect over a usb. Hmm even thought its gone, that's still an interesting issue. Only an amature guess but the sound card had hick up and didn't recognize the audio jack was being used. Then again I don't know the design of that, as I understood having anything plugged into to that would prevent any signal being sent to your computer's internal speakers. May just not have been plugged in all the way or something blocked part of the connection.

Swear to god. It was back, and now it's gone again. So annoying. I guess that's what I get for using a sound card with the last driver update being 2 years ago. Anyone know of anyone other than Creative who make good laptop sound cards that plug into PCI slots?
