    High Capacity Scanner.

At the beginning of the year My company Purchased a new Scanner. An HP Scanjet enterprise 7500.
Its Daily capacity is 3,000 pages. And after 100,000 pages the Feed Rollers need to be replaced. Thats roughly a Month of Scanning. So here we are 2 months overdue for a Roller replacement (Were Cheap) I call HP Support to Order the Parts. Their on order from the manufacturer. WTF?!?!?!?!

In Closing, Don't Purchase the Scanjet 7500 from HP. Also Can anyone Suggest a High Capacity ADF Scanner With a Print to PDF scan software with an Incredibly light Footprint?

the ones we use at work do not print to PDF, but they will send you an e-mail with the scan as a PDF so there is no need for client side software. We have several of them, HPs and Lexmarks. We do not do anywhere near the capacity you are talking about, although ours would be capable of it, so I have no info on reliability that would be relevant to your situation.

Thanks Gumby! I've heard on other Boards that a Fujitsu is the way to go, but I am Very Skeptical. I am Very Saddened by the HP's lack of Support and Performance. I'm now getting a "Hang" Error nearly ever Batch. The Software Automatically names the Document, but with the "Hang" it seems to loose em somewhere.

we use canon scanners here. Not my first choice but they have a contract with the state and they do get the job done.

The mid volume one we use is the Canon ImageFormula DR-4010C which is 42pages/min 5,000pages per day.

Just under 5k on our contract.

High volume areas use Canon imageFormula DR-X10C which is 110-128 pages/min 60,000 pages per day

    25k (ouch)
