I moved out when I was 18, and I wasn't ready to face the world. It was a lot harder than it had to be, believe me.

You're 13 years old, your parents or other caregivers provide you with a great deal of financial and physical protection. While it's true that there are other people out there who may lend you their protection, care agencies and the like, that's hardly you providing for yourself. Even if we entertain the idea that you're the sort of person who'd really have the right stuff to find an illegal job out of the rather limited selection of roles available to people your age, it's incredibly unlikely that it would be enough to eat off of, let alone provide yourself with shelter or clean clothes and the like. It's not a good life.
So yeah, you have a cushy parental backup; whether you like the providers of it or not is quite beside the point.
