Need some multi-desktop advice / recommendations...

So I'm setting up my displays for both an HDTV as well as my monitor. I'll probably be using the monitor most of the time but I'll occasionally switch to the HDTV. The thing is, rearranging all the icons and adjusting the DPI settings / everything else is a pain to do manually whenever I switch. Does anyone know of or can anyone recommend a good desktop / display manager that I could use to toggle between different desktops / icon positions / display settings? I found one utility, Desktop Restore, that does some of the things I need but I'm not sure if I want to go with it or not. There's got to be something out there that automates this stuff, I hope...

UPDATE: It turns out Desktop Restore is perfect for saving desktop / icon configs.
