    BSOD multiple times today

4 times while playing DoDS (and only while playing DoDS; I played SC2 and CSS and it was fine), my system has crashed to the lovely bluescreen. In my attempt to fix the issue, I have updated my video drivers, updated windows, and dusted out my computer. But it is still happening

Here is what WinDBG told me when I did the bugcheck analysis of my memory.dmp:

    Code:
    0: kd> !analyze -v

    Re: BSOD multiple times today

    A few questions

    1. Have you ran a memtest lately?

    2. Did you overclock anything?

    3. Are you sure you didn't by any chance install a Vista Driver? VISTA_DRIVER_FAULT for instance may mean you installed a Vista Driver on a Windows 7 os.

    Re: BSOD multiple times today

    1. Never have. I will now.
    2. No.
    3. I do not believe I installed any Vista specific drivers, but most drivers that I have installed say "for Vista/7 x64" or something similar. Also, I didn't install any drivers between not having this problem and having it.

    Re: BSOD multiple times today

Hm, so it only does this when playing DoD?

Well, it has to be one of these things.

    1. A bad graphics card driver
    2. RAM
    3. Possible recent issue arising with the latest DoD update.

Do you remember what day this started happening?

This piece of code is telling what is causing the issue, something called Ki, is there any program or hardware that you have that may have some kind of link to this?

    Re: BSOD multiple times today

Yeah, so far its only while playing DoDS.
    1. I installed 11.4 preview drivers just now, will try that out tomorrow (well, after I get some sleep, anyway).
    2. Windows Memory Diagnostic reported no errors.
    3. This did start happening after the DoDS update. I thought it might be because of that, but it seems odd that no one else has this issue.

I don't think I have anything that has to do with Ki.

    Re: BSOD multiple times today

I recently had an issue with the current nVIDIA drivers. My drivers were crashing and recovering, even when only using a web browser. I couldn't run any games without artifacting almost immediately and the game crashing.

I thought it was a hardware issue. I tried reinstalling the latest drivers to find the same issues. I installed some updated beta drivers and everything started working correctly again.
