Re: TeamPlayerGaming Folding Team
Nice! So I take it you are running current NVidia GPUs? You also get a GUI client too, don't you?
I did my first OC to 4.0ghz on a very very tiny voltage jump last night. Ran the SMP client on all 4-cores all night. Everything seems to be running perfect and cool. Will probably take it to 4.5 this weekend. I spend a lot of time away from that computer between work and sleep so it should put down some good numbers for TPG.

After reading this:

Looks like my ATI 6870 can run. I just have to force it to. Will give that a shot tonight.

I'll hook you up with one of my servers, maybe two depending on how much CPU and memory it takes over time. The only problem i got with this server, that im working on, is the NIC cards. It only has 100mbp/s cards, and will be buying a 10/100/1000/2000mbp/s soon. So the connection wont be suburb, but it can handle the work. Put me on the list and tell me what to do.

OK, I'm in and points are posting. I'm running the V7.1.24 Open Beta and having issues with stability. Trying again after a re-install of the client.
I've got an i5 2500k at 4.5 GHz, with two GTX 460's. And I'll never catch the points leaders."A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."

I'm running my GPU's every once in a while, but I need to do something with the cooling if I want to constantly run both of my cards. My rig has restarted on me a few times before, so I'll have to get another fan in the case or do water cooling (really don't want to attempt this).
Why no rank?
Because that isn't why or how I play.

My nvidia 8800 GT fan, when running on default driver settings, didn't max out until after the card would have become unstable. I used rivatuner to run the onbboard fan at 60% duty cycle and temps dropped to 70 or less at full utilization. I would check out rivatuner. Let me know if you need help setting it up.
