Re: TeamPlayerGaming Folding Team
I have been trying to keep rigs up to score points. Very limited on time and dont always remember to turn them back on.
Nice to see the rank still moving up. I was looking not long ago and hitting top 200 will be hard top 100 damn near impossible without more folders. So anyone reading, please add F@H to your computer or PS3.

True, but upward progress has slowed considerably. We've only got 20 or 21 active members out of about 46 total (there are at least 2 duplicate member ID's):

We would really benefit if every member would contribute; remember, guys, every little bit helps."A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."

How in the hell are you pulling 32k every 24 hours? I don't see how that is possible ... I'm willing to put in work but I just don't understand how I'm maxed out and pulling alittle of 3k and you have 32k lol We need a youtube video of how to set this up like you have it.

Re: TeamPlayerGaming Folding Team
Here is what I have running nearly all day long (except when I'm gaming): an i5 2500 k overclocked to 4.5 GHz, with 2 EVGA 1 GB GTX 460's at stock speeds. I also run F@H on my regular non-gaming PC, which is an E7300 Core2 Duo at 2.67 GHz (stock), with a lowly GeForce 9500 GT (stock).
On both rigs, I use the F@H V7.1.38 Beta client. To increase potential points, I applied for and utilize a Passkey Folding@home - FAQ-passkey, and, on my gaming rig, I set up the client to utilize large work units for the CPU and both GPU's (http://www.teamplayergaming.com/pc-h...ml#post1511669)
Only the i5 is overclocked. I run EVGA Precision only to increase fan speed on my GPU's, to keep temps below 70 degrees C. And that's it! Nothing else. No magic potions or incantations. I think the large work units and the Passkey really help in points accumulation. That, and running the PC's full tilt for 20+ hours a day.
My power company loves me."A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."

11-29-11, 10:47 PM #589Okaaaaaay. I will start again tomorrow. Running all of my units was costing me an arm and a leg on my electric bill. I cant promise 50k point days every day, but maybe 25-30k.
