Need some help here guys. Since I re-installed about a week ago I have had my desktop running pretty much 24/7. During the day I am typically working on my laptop, and just leave the desktop folding on both my CPU and GPU with no problems. However, when I go to bed at night I also leave F@H running, but when I come back to the desktop in the morning the GPU has stopped and has a failed message. I do not get this during the day, and if I pause and unpause it then it runs fine all day. Anyone else experience this?

Possible, but highly doubtful. I let it run 10-12 hours during the day with no issues, so I doubt the 6-8 while I am sleeping is causing overheating. I was thinking it may have something to do with sleep/hibernate settings.

I would think that it is the hibernate, try changing it to never put to sleep and change your screen to shut off after 10 minutes.

I think I found the culprit. In the advanced power options the HD was set to turn off after 20 minutes. We shall see what tomorrow morning brings.

I've been looking for a way to get your GTX 690 folding for the team. What, specifically, is the problem? Have you tried using version 7.2.9? If so, and you still have issues, take a look at these two F@H forum stickies:
