Re: TeamPlayerGaming Folding Team
Welcome, Phyrelight! Yep, we're grateful for every contribution.
This may have to do with a power management setting. A quick search of the F@H forums (http://foldingforum.org/) suggests that locking the PC should allow the client to continue running, but Sleep mode (or perhaps other energy saving settings) may shut the client down. Try disabling all power saving settings for your OS and then try locking the PC to see if that affects the client. If that doesn't work, you might search the forums for answers specific to the client you're running."A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."

Re: TeamPlayerGaming Folding Team
Rearranged my living room so I can hook my old computer up to my receiver and tv. Gonna go through all this fun and a new receiver is next on my list! The ps3 has become a dedicated folder since the disk drive isnt working. I might just move it somewhere else in the house since it just needs power. I keep adding stuff and havent gone back and done my cable management. So long story short... I will hopefully have a dedicated gpu and cpu from my old machine and the ps3, with my main rig running at night all wired back up and running this weekend.

Re: TeamPlayerGaming Folding Team
I was out for the last 5 days on work travel and had my PC shut down with the AC off. I'm back now, and folding has resumed!

My rig likely will not be back up until the end of the week. Perhaps mid week, but I will not be folding on it until Friday/Saturday once I get everything reinstalled.

1208! If you have a quad core and you run the multicore client... I have absolutely no problem playing L4D or CSS WHILE running the client. I believe it sets its priority low, so CSS or L4D will take higher priority of the CPU cores' work cycles while the rest of the available time can be taken up by FAH.
I vote for a goal of breaking into triple digits by the end of July. Obtainable and would be quite awesome.
