Re: The 200$ Build
Well, I love doing builds I'll take this time to advertise my site:
Choosing Components for Your Budget PC
Anyway, here is what I compiled for ya!
Phenom II X4 840 + GA-MA78LMT-S2 760G $99: Micro Center AMD Processor Bundle Savings
Seagate 500GB SATA III $40: Newegg.com - Seagate Barracuda ST3500413AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Ballistix Sport 2GB DDR3 1333 $21: Newegg.com - Ballistix sport 2GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory Model BL25664BA1339
Sapphire 5670 512mb DDR5 $70: Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100287VGAL Radeon HD 5670 (Redwood) 512MB 128-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
Total: $230
You can reuse an older DVD drive and the PSU, assuming HeavyG supplies that, is taken care of. All in all, The 5670 would provide enough power to play CSS above 60 FPS in fact, and even handle other games. As for the 840, it is just a renamed Propus 640 but it's a quad-core nonetheless and'll preform just fine. Don't worry SATA III is backwards compatible with SATA II.

Re: The 200$ Build
Never buy re-certified. Never better than the new thing.
Newegg.com - Seagate Barracuda ST3500413AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Spend a little more, it's worth it rather than getting something that may fail on you at the worst time.
Galaxy isn't exactly the most TRUSTABLE COMPANY, I would not trust that MIR at all. The most trustable rebates would be these two IMO.
EVGA: Newegg.com - EVGA 01G-P3-1450-TR GeForce GTS 450 (Fermi) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Gigabyte: Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GV-N450OC-1GI GeForce GTS 450 (Fermi) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video CardLast edited by Shinobi; 05-05-11 at 11:15 PM.
