Nice way to spend a grand! This system should rock some socks off. Are you recycling your PSU or buying a new one? What case is this going into?

New hardware is always so exciting. I will likely skip Sandy Bridge all together and wait for the next big platform upgrade... perhaps next spring. Until then, my little Core i7-870 will still be a major contender with these Sandy Bridge CPUs as they are being backed by the GTX 570s.

I will have to do a few more drawings to pay for it in full. Hopefully that business turns back around.

I have a new Corsair 850W laying around here.

I have an old school CoolerMaster case. I have had it for like 10 years.

    This is my case:

Coolermaster ATC-220-VX1 : Spring Case Madness: 24 Of The Best

    It serves me well enough.

I have more PSUs than I know what to do with. I probably have like 10+ varying in watts and types. All of them are PurePower, Corsair and BFG.
