Right, so currently, the only option to plug in a USB 3.0 that's featured on a case is to line the cable from the case USB port around to the back of the case and plug it in to a USB 3.0 slot there. Does anyone know when there will be MBs that let you directly plug in case USB 3.0's into them?
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.

You need to make sure the USB ports included on your case are USB 3.0 compatible. Most cases I've seen are still USB 2.0 compatible. As for when there will be USB 3.0 headers on the motherboard... probably when there's native USB 3.0 support in chipsets. As of now, they're all using third-party USB 3.0 chipsets.

IF you can wait, with the IVY bridge processor should come new MOBO with the new chipset where USB 3.0 SHOULD be the normal rather than the exception. Right now with the MOBO designs for w/e reason the 3.0 spots are near the 'front' of the mobo rather than the back..u can buy a adapter/extension for 3.0 which is a pain, but if u can't wait thats the best route to take.
