She is done........and HOLY FREAKIN CANOLI is that sumbitch fast........
Windows experience was held down to 7.3 because of the 5750 vid card.....otherwise everything else was at 7.8 or better.
From the time you push the power button, to the time you are at the desktop....25 seconds. Windows boots in about 10 seconds.
And nice and quiet, too. Delivering and setting up for the old man tonight.......he's gonna flip. Going from a 1.43Ghz single core to a 3.3Ghz quad core with an SSD.....he will certainly see a performance increase....to say the least.
*sidenote* The CM Storm Scout case was really nice to work with for a mid-size case. Decent wire management, really good airflow, and well laid-out. Nice little case for anyone who wants a mid sized tower. I'll take a couple of pics tonight when I pull it back out of the box.

I've had no such issues with my 460's. I just had to roll back the newest drivers due to artifacting, but the cards have been recognized with every set of drivers I've installed.
Have you tried uninstalling drivers, booting into Safe Mode, running Driver Sweeper (or equivalent), rebooting, and then installing the latest drivers?
Sorry for perpetuating the thread derail, dex. By the way, overclock that 2500k and your dad will be shitting even more horsepower!"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."

Nothing but good things to say about the board. Nicely laid-out, and you can tell the art department put some time into the heat sinks...very cool looking. ASUS has changed their BIOS GUI, and the new one is slick and clean looking.
I guess the only thing I didn't like about the board was that it isn't supported by the ASUS AI SUITE.....mine is, and I use it all the time. Other than that, great board to work with.
