    In the BIOS whats the SATA Module Bay connection set to? Try changing it to IDE and booting then install SATA drivers. Also, in the BIOS make sure you have USB connection enabled. You could check with a multi meter to see if you get any power on the MB USB connection...

    Put the PC under load and see what it says. It might be dropping speed while idle.

    You should be able to turn that off in your BIOS. It is a power saving feature to drop your multiplier when the CPU is not under load. Once you run an application, the multiplier should jump up.

    Overclockers typically shut off any sort of power saving feature or turbo boost as it can cause fluctuations in voltage and create unstable overclocks.
