    Thinking about buying a 590. DON'T!

    nvidia 590GTX revision. The revised GeForce GTX 590 graphics cards will feature 699-11020-005-502 marking on the PCB. The current version has 699-11020-005-500 marking.

    The 680 GTX won't compete with the GTX 590. The 590 is like having two GTX 570s. The problem with the GTX 590 was the VRMs would blow if you tried to push the voltage too far. This PCB redesign should help with overclocking... possibly even having higher clocks right out of the box. In addition, the 3 GB frame buffer should be very nice as well.

    Kepler looks a huge performance jump to me. nvidia say "3 to 4 times the performance per watt compared to Fermi chip". The game "Metro 2033" needs this performance...
