ASUS EP121 Slate
NO ONE FUCKING HAS A DISPLAY MODEL!! Not J&R, not B&H (two of the biggest tech stores in NYC). B&H has even marked it as "discontinued" on their website even though the thing is brand spanking new. The "geeks" at Best Buy haven't even heard of it. Newegg is out of stock. Amazon is the only place where I can find them IN STOCK, and even then, its for $200 extra! Oh by the way, all of Amazon only has 18 left.

It was the same with the Asus Transformer Android Tablet too though.
They had some issues recently with supplies, so distribution has been scarce.
Thing is though, I know my warehouse has some, and if they do give em to stores (which is unlikely as it is), it won't go to mine, because we are a "low priority" store, even though the Computers department in my store is in the top 150 computers departments of Best Buy out of 1200 stores nation wide. And we get EVERYTHING new LAST.

Re: ASUS EP121 Slate
Guess what?
I got it..............
$1150 for the 64/4 version. Slightly more than list price, but I didnt have to pay for tax and shipping, so I actually made out better.
Holy shit it is fast! Handwriting recognition is pretty good, actually. One thing I have noticed though, is that upon initial boot up (while you are on the log on screen for your password), it takes a little while for the device to sync with the keyboard maybe, 10 seconds. Nothing of any major importance, but you have to find SOMETHING :P
