    Its set up to just plug in and go, never had this prob before with any other pc.... yea I unplugged it and counted to 20

    Check and make sure you didn't disable the NIC card. Also, make sure to update or roll back the LAN driver. Another, thing make sure your NIC hasn't gone bad. Try using a cross over cable and connect it to another PC and see if you can access it.

    Ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew try that?

    Gotta get a crossover dont have one. I uninstalled the nic, reinstalled the dirvers, ip release and reset the winsock catalog.
