Thread: Got a new keyboard.... Ducky 9008G2

So I won a contest over at Overclock.net and got this awesome new keyboard out of it.

I really like it so far, and no its not just the 'new toy' kind of like.

I had a mechanical keyboard back in the day, '91. It was an IBM model M, the switches on that had a tactile bump and click (kind of like Cherry MX Blue's) and I think I like this one much better, no tactile bump or click.

I won't lie; I have a thing for mechanical keyboards. Have bought four different ones in the past couple years. I love my Filco that has the cherry MX brown switches. It is awesome for any kind of typing. My happy hacker keyboard is the best I have found for coding, though. Wonderful layout for it.

Everyone should at least try a mechanical keyboard. Razer has a decent one that is relatively cheap. It is both tactile and clicky.
