Is it a top cooler though?

The pic shows the vent up but the logo on the side is upside down which leads me to believe it's ment for cases with top set PS. Now my PS in my rig was the same way but my case is made for a bottom set PS. I just turned the thing upside down with no issues.

i dont know tech but that seems like it would be blowing heat up twords your vid cards and what not odd thing to do making it that way less you got a big ass case

I have the 850w mounted in bottom of my case with fan facing up.

Oh Contrair, if that's how you spell it. More and more cases are having bottom mounted power supplies, the reason is not so that the air blows into your cards necessarily but hot air like to go up and usually cases now have at least a 120mm rear exhaust with a 120mm top exhaust as well. My 902 has a 200mm top and 120mm exhaust and that gets rid of the hot air with pretty solid airflow.

i'm sure you know far more then i do i just think it odd the way my vid card is if i had a psu like that i would thinkg the vid cards fan would suck it up
