08-13-11, 02:36 PM #22PSU fans don't blow air into the case. The fans suck in cool air and it goes out the back. That is how it works on my Silent pro, anyways.
Top or bottom mount, the PSU will almost always intake air from the bottom. Bottom mount PSUs are better because the pull air from the outside rather than warm case air.

This may or may not help:
Newegg.com - Thermaltake Toughpower Grand TPG-1050M 1050W ATX 12V v2.3 & SSI EPS 12V v2.92 SLI Certified CrossFire Certified 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Active PFC Power Supply
It looks as though it mounts at the top, with the fan facing up.

Re: Power Supply for Sale
From everything I have read on PSUs it does not seem to matter which way you mount it as long as the fan has room to pull air. Some bottom mounted cases have openings in the bottom for the fan to pull air from under the case. Others do not and from the other forums I have read, the builders just simply flip the fan to face up towards the motherboard. I would say that a top mount should work in the same manner. If you have space or room above the PSU to draw air then install it with the fan up. If not flip it and let it draw air from below (granted I have only built one pc with the help of TPG tech wizards). What case do you have Kraker?
