Thread: Looking For Mouse

Short review!

The left click finger placement area is narrow. I feel the three top buttons and the mouse wheel on either side of my finger. The right click slopes drastically and takes some getting used to. Both have the mouse click, but it is fairly soft. I have had to slightly alter my grip to smoothly move and click. It is taller than my g500 and is shorter, slightly wider. The thumb buttons are located in a fairly functional position. I dont like the softness, I like the more crisp click feel that other mice have. I like all my buttons to have a distinctive snap when you press the button. The 4 thumb buttons and 3 just left of the left click dont have that. Same setpoint software, easy to configure. Doesnt fit my palm the way I am accustomed to. I have a large hand and rest most of it on the mouse, the g700 is shaped more like the mx revolution mice. Gaming was smooth so far, only about 30 minutes in css as of this. I am logging on and will update further as I program the buttons and feel it out.

the buttons on the 700 look oddly placed i like my 400 but i feel now like i need one of those mouse pads with the wrist bump/rest and the 518 looks similar to the 400 so you might wanna pick up one of those if you get it
