Thread: Win 7 And Xonar DX sound card no volume

I just installes a xonar dx card and cannot get my headphones to work . No sound

Have you plugged your headphones into something else to make sure they work? Do you have the most current sound card drivers installed?

Go into Window's sound settings and make sure that the proper device is marked as the default sound source. Make sure that the volume on this device is not too low. Also check the normal Windows volume in your system tray and make sur that level isn't set too low.

Also, check the software that was installed with the drivers. Make sure all the settings there are correct.

you know... odd that it's mentioned I had this problem.. d/l drivers fresh, win7 64bit and the dx regular.. worked fine.. after a day it just stopped working, no sound and no indication anywhere error report wise of what caused it and I could never get it working.. back to mobo sound till I got it figured out so I'll definatley be interested in hearing what's what
