Ok so I am a few issues i need help with. 2 with my desktop and one with my laptop.

Desktop:

1. While playing BC2 I will get the blue screen of death. Video drivers are updated. The error tells me it is a hardware issue. I do not get the Bluescreen while playing any other games. ( as far as I know )

2. While playing BF2 i now crash to desktop.Mind you this just started this week. The only changed done to me computer in the last week were driver updates and a windows update.

Laptop:

1. While playing BF2 crashes to desktop. Now This is a pretty new laptop but in the month and half sinc i have had it i have never been able to play bf2 without crashing to desktop. All my drivers are up to date.

write down or take a pic of the error messages the Blue Screen gives. The BSOD and the BF2 crashes could be related.

On you laptop, are you using steam?

yes I am. Only thing that keeps popping up is 1 files fails to valiate with my bf2 copy. I hae re-installed the game 3 times

Also i can play bc2 on my laptop with no problems

did you try to update punk buster manually?

On you PC. While playing BC2 you might have a memory leak. If you have Ultimate Boot disk run a memory check on it. Also, is your RAM OC? Also, how much ram are you running?

For you Laptop make sure when running BF2 you have PunkBuster, services running. Check your service when the game is running. Don't remember the setting punkbuster A and B are set to...

Maybe try some older video drivers. I know that at least one update for my ATI cards caused all kinds of problems with BF2. I rolled them back, and they have worked perfectly ever since. Super_Gunny had the same problem, and fixed it he same way.
