    new mobo problem

just installed asus m4a88t-v evo mobo, and a amd phenom II black edition x4 965.

installed everything just like it showed in the manuals. But,

when I go to hit the power button the front lights flash on for a second and I hear a click, like it did before it was bout to start up then nothing. No boot up.

Tried flipping the front panel connectors, power, reset, and hdd led, and dont even get the blink of the front light. Could I be connecting something wrong with the front connectors?

Any ideas as to why it would get power just for a second then nothing happens?
