    An AMD fan?... Ewwww...

    I've always preferred Intel/nVidia (I love EVGA!) for my builds. I've had a few ATI cards over the years and I have had problems with their drivers quite often. It sucks when you have to use a beta driver or roll back to a previous release to play games with any chance of stability.

    I have had one AMD processor in a prebuilt PC I had to get somewhat last minute while in college. Didn't have any problems with it, but I do like the comfort of Intel's superior design standards.

    I've been using AMD CPUs since the early Athlon days. See no reason to go back now.

    On the gfx front, I was an nVidia customer for years. Most recently though I bought a 6870 and have been happy with it. Might look into another for crossfire later.
