HDMI cable to receiver. It was an easy solution for me ;-)

If I didn't feel like using the media PC I had my airport express to stereo as a backup.

The Logitech 5.1 is outdated? My dad has a Klipsch (or however you spell it) that cost a couple hundred and my Logitech 6 speaker keeps up with his.

mine are the absolute original first 5.1 system logitech came out with, to my knowledge anyway, There just getting old on me, the bass is getting all crappy instead of smooth and punchy like it used to be...It could also just be a ineed an actual sound card...Meh idk...
