Hard drive not detected

That's what my device manager looks like. My 1TB drive shows up in the bottom but not in the top. Any suggestions on how I can get Windows to properly recognize it?

Partition and/or format it?

It's recognizing a terabyte of space. You need to tell it what to do with that space.

top is partitions, bottom is drives (and their partitions), format it then partition it up.

right click on the drive in the bottom and select new partition...you know what...I will just find an online walk through instead of typing it all out.
