Thread: Creative's new quad core sound cards

Hope these new cards fix the crackle/pop/clipping sound issues the x-fi's are plagued with.

i hate creative, i had one of those snap/crackle/pop (scp) cards for 7 years. The problem with my card, was caused by the introduction of 64bit os, 32bit any os worked fine, 64bit windows had scp, creative had commented on it somewhere... More or less said there would be no fix for my old card... Uggg,

Cool, but seems like overkill? Not to mention is made by creative, whom is like EA with supporting their product and releasing updates once 6-18 months. Though, they were getting better for a short time period...

Expensive I'll bet. I wonder how they intend to sell it when so many mobo manufacturer's are packaging their own sound cards, and/or won't/don't support SB products.

HT Omega makes a much superior product with better driver support. They also have a full range of products at different price points.
