No, that version will do. However, when I try to run that installer, I get the following error:

The name org.freedesktop.PackageKit was not provided by any .service files

what do you mean "run the installer"? rpm?

Also the root in the EPEL repo probably requires a bunch of dependencies. I am too lazy to post how to modify your repo config to point to EPEL so that you can just use yum to install it automatically...

rpm -i or yum install this: http://download.fedoraproject.org/pu...6-5.noarch.rpm

Then yum search root
should list all of the root and associated root modules/dependencies in EPEL
