Re: New Rig - Need Help
It's very simple; once you've assembled your system, you can find the setting in the BIOS and enable XMP. How to do that varies with the motherboard BIOS, so we can't tell you exactly how to do it now, but if you can't figure it out when you get to that step, we can help.
I have concerns about the PSU you've chosen; the Newegg and Amazon reviews are not encouraging I also found this: Thermaltake TR2 RX 750 W Power Supply Review | Hardware Secrets
Probably better to spend a bit more and get a PSU that has better odds of functioning without issue.
Also, I like the Antec Three Hundred Illusion case a lot. True, the filters are a bit cumbersome to remove and clean, but for the price, it's a great case. Look for sales at Newegg (I got that case for $50 recently); be sure you sign up for the EBLAST mailings, also.
Lastly, if you intend to buy that CPU from Newegg, the $15 Promo ends today."A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."

Yeah man, don't be intimidated changing the settings for the memory; it's all good.
As for that PSU I am in agreement as well; I have had some bad experiences with multiple thermaltake PSUs and those reviews are discouraging. I really like Corsair PSUs right now; don't be too cheap with a PSU, it is the base of your entire system and it can break other components if it goes south on you. Anymore the PSU is one of the most expensive things in my system besides the GPU.
