    How do I overclock?

I've got Afterburner, which I think can let me OC my GPUs. That being said I'm not sure what settings to change. They are already factory OCed some already.

I'm also wondering how to OC my processor (i7-2600k).
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

Regarding CPU overclocking: you might be able to find info specific to your motherboard and BIOS with a Google search (I couldn't find much; I believe you got the ASUS p8z68 Deluxe, correct?), but here's a guide written for an earlier ASUS MB that should get you started: Official ASUS P8P67 Series Overclocking Guide and Information - [H]ard|Forum

Overclocking on these boards and with the i5 and i7 CPU's can be as simple as changing the multiplier in the BIOS; I have my i5 2500k running a variation of the Turbo Mode at 4.5 GHz (using this method on a Gigabyte board: 2500K+gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4 B3 simple OC : Intel Processor Forum). There are differences in motherboards and CPU's that will determine the maximum stable OC for your particular setup, so a bit of trial and error will be required. Just keep an eye on temps while running Prime95 (or whatever stress program you choose). I would suggest you update the BIOS to the latest stable version prior to any OC efforts. And find out ahead of time how to clear the CMOS on your motherboard (you will need to do that if you get to an unstable point and can't boot into the BIOS).

Don't be in a hurry; I did a LOT of internet research prior to any overclocking attempts. And I'm really, really not very knowledgeable about this stuff, so, if I can do it, you can do it.

overclockers.com but before you do, may I suggest you oc at the end of the processor life cycle not early on unless an extra 5-10% fps is a deal breaker for you.
What I would do is check your bios for an “optimal settings” tab usually under the advanced tab, pick that, set everything else to auto and leave it alone. Otherwise, you risk an unstable system.

My CPU is already over clocked, If I restore my computer and format my hard drive will I have to over clock it again?

No, the overclocking is written into the CMOS, which is the motherboards dedicated memory. Your hard drive and windows install have nothing to do with it.
