Re: need parts ie vid card
Not sure what else to do at this point - I can't work till my rig is back up and running. Not that I can afford to right now, but I may have to just build a new rig on ccard

Re: need parts ie vid card
Is it more than just you're vid card? If you just need to have it for work won't the onboard graphics work for you? And if you just need a new card why are you talking about building a new rig? Also you may want to post in the pc hardware section, you might get more people seeing it there.

Re: need parts ie vid card
good response. I "feel" its my vid card as I've been noticing it drag as well as 2 days ago while in-game it completely went black after a huge triangle of fuzzy snow appeared - would not recover. It will probably most likely be my mobo as it's been a POS ever since I installed win7 and lately has had starting and shutting down probs. It appears more to be a hardware prob instead of an OS.
I'll see if I can move this thread to where you suggested, thannks!Hot-dogs in your buns! << why did I write this, I forgot and what was I thinking?!

Re: need parts ie vid card and/or mobo
as for replacing parts vs building a new rig:
I'm not in the market to do either, but I'm thinking the lesser worst is replacing parts however the best end all is to simply update by a new rig then when I got extra money later I can scrap what's good from my current setup and make it a second cpu.Hot-dogs in your buns! << why did I write this, I forgot and what was I thinking?!
